Arojiji Ijeshaland Kingdom, located in Obokun East Local Government Area of Osun State, Nigeria, is a distinguished community celebrated for its deep-rooted traditions, vibrant festivals, and significant contributions to Yoruba heritage. This ancient kingdom is part of the Ijesha sub-ethnicity, whose people trace their lineage to Oduduwa, the progenitor of the Yoruba race. The history of Arojiji Ijeshaland is intertwined with that of Ilesa, the cultural capital of Ijesha, founded around 1250 by Owaluse, a descendant of Oduduwa.

Nestled in a forested region rich in natural resources, including gold deposits in the Ilesa Gold Belt, the kingdom’s geographical setting further enhances its cultural prominence.
